Our agency is seeking a Professional Counselor 5 for our Behavioral Health Clinic located in Denham Springs, LA. An ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, the ability to communicate in a way that promotes understanding and engagement and commitment to trauma-informed care. As a Clinical Supervisor they must also be able to lead their team in a way that builds trust, motivates others, fosters accountability, and aligns people, processes, and tools to achieve shared goals. Job Duties:
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Serves as the clinical supervisor Conducts groups as needed and completes intake assessments. Provides crisis interventions and emergency counseling as needed. Maintains the waiting list. Provides education to clients and families related to substance use disorders. Provides professional/clinical supervision to staff. Manages work assignments and participates in treatment team staffing. Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and provides guidance to those that may require additional support and coordination of services. May serve as a back-up to the Clinic Manager as needed. May oversee and maintain daily clinical reporting processes as requested.

Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. The pay range for the position is: Professional Counselor 5 : $24.57/hour minimum - $44.28/hour maximum Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title and not the maximum amount usually offered to new hires.
