The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare management, with a focus on psychiatric and hospital operations. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker capable of overseeing clinical, administrative, and fiscal functions to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care within a compliant and efficient environment. The administrator will be responsible for fostering a collaborative team culture, maintaining regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement aligned with industry best practices. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive management of hospital operations, including clinical services, administrative functions, and patient safety protocols. Lead and supervise senior leadership teams, including clinical directors, nursing managers, and support staff, to promote operational excellence. Oversee project management initiatives aimed at improving service delivery, compliance, and facility development. Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations such as JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other relevant standards. Manage hospital budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal management to optimize resource allocation while maintaining quality standards. Oversee the implementation and utilization of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to enhance documentation accuracy and workflow efficiency. Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards, medical records management, and privacy regulations to protect patient information. Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement by monitoring performance metrics aligned with Level I Trauma Center standards and other accreditation requirements. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure the hospital operates as a Level II Trauma Center or higher, providing critical psychiatric services in emergency situations. Experience Shall have at minimum at least one of the following qualifications- a) Masters degree and at least 3 years of full-time experience in progressively responsible management positions in healthcare, or b) Baccalaureate degree and at least 5 years of full-time experience in progressively responsible management positions in healthcare, or c) At least 10 years of full-time experience in Hospital Administration. Proven supervisory experience in healthcare or hospital administration within psychiatric or mental health settings. Demonstrated project management skills with successful oversight of complex initiatives in healthcare environments. Extensive hospital experience with familiarity in managing Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Strong background in medical management, including budgeting, financial management, and resource planning within healthcare organizations. Knowledge of healthcare management systems such as EMR/EHR platforms and medical records procedures. Experience ensuring compliance with JCAHO accreditation standards, NCQA standards, HIPAA regulations, and other relevant legal requirements. Prior leadership roles in facilities that emphasize medical terminology understanding and high-quality patient care delivery.
