https://riveroakshospital.com/ Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director for Inpatient Services specializing in Trauma and Eating Disorders . This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health, trauma, and eating disorder treatment modalities. The Program Director will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster an environment of continuous improvement to deliver exceptional patient care within a multidisciplinary setting. Duties Provide strategic leadership for inpatient trauma and eating disorder programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Oversee clinical staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management to maintain high-quality care delivery. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts to optimize patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management processes. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, ICD
coding standards (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical documentation requirements. Monitor clinical outcomes through data collection and research initiatives to support continuous quality improvement. Manage operational aspects including budget oversight, resource allocation, and hospital accreditation standards while fostering a patient-centered environment. Experience Proven leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health settings with a focus on trauma or eating disorders. Extensive knowledge of mental health counseling techniques such as crisis intervention, social work practices, and psychotherapy modalities. Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and patients with complex medical or psychiatric needs including PTSD care. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and CPT coding for accurate documentation and billing. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations, intake assessments, and applying behavioral management strategies within hospital or clinical environments. Strong background in crisis management, home & community care coordination, special education considerations, and working with individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of clinical research methodologies relevant to behavioral health populations is desirable.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling with specialization in mental health. Possesses an unencumbered license; i.e., LPC, LCSW; by a certified board in Louisiana. A minimum of two yrs. experience in individual, group, and family therapy; must have experience in trauma and compulsive behavior treatment interventions plus relapse preventions; Ability to assess the needs and provide the required range of treatment modalities and interventions for trauma and compulsive behavior clients.
