About The Grace House The Grace House is a licensed Therapeutic Group Home in Jeanerette, Louisiana, serving adolescent boys through trauma-informed, Medicaid-funded residential care. We provide structure, stability, and skilled clinical support for youth navigating emotional and behavioral challenges. Our mission is to restore dignity and direction through high-quality, individualized care. Position Summary The Clinical Director provides leadership and oversight of all therapeutic services while also delivering direct mental health treatment to youth in care. This role ensures that services are clinically sound, Medicaid-compliant, and aligned with all LDH and DCFS regulations. The Clinical Director works closely with residential staff, therapy providers, and the Supervising Practitioner to ensure continuity of care and high standards across the program. Key Responsibilities Clinical Oversight Development and implementation of treatment plans Ensure all clinical documentation is timely, accurate, and Medicaid-compliant Conduct regular clinical record reviews to ensure audit readiness Coordinate with the Supervising Practitioner for required approvals and reviews Direct Client Services Provide individual and group therapy to youth residents as needed Conduct intake assessments and clinical evaluations Develop and update treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and staff Participate in team meetings, treatment reviews, and discharge planning Staff Supervision & Support Provide clinical supervision and guidance to other therapists and qualified staff Lead team case reviews and provide consultation on behavioral support strategies Monitor quality of services and provide training or corrective guidance when needed Program Support & Communication Work with residential and administrative staff to maintain a trauma-informed, structured care environment Participate in audits, inspections, and any required reporting to LDH or DCFS Assist in program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Must be licensed in Louisiana as an LMHP Minimum 2 years of experience providing therapy to youth in a clinical or residential setting Experience with Medicaid documentation and treatment planning required Strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills Must pass criminal background check and meet DCFS eligibility standards Directly from Louisiana TGH regulations manual: a. A clinical director shall be an LMHP. b. The clinical director shall have the appropriate qualifications to meet the responsibilities of the clinical director and the needs of the TGH's clients. A clinical director may not practice beyond his/her scope of practice license. c. N/A d. Practitioners who meet the criteria of the clinical director may also serve as the TGH's therapist. e. The responsibilities of a clinical director include, but are not limited to: i. overseeing, implementing, and coordinating treatment services; ii. continually incorporating new clinical information and best practices into the program to assure program effectiveness and viability; iii. overseeing the process to identify, respond to, and report crisis situations on a 24-hour per day, 7 day per week basis; iv. clinical management for the program in conjunction with and consultation with the supervising practitioner; v. assuring confidentiality and quality organization and management of clinical records and other program documentation; and vi. applying and supervising the gathering of outcome data and determining the effectiveness of the program.
