JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Patient Access Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the patient access services within a healthcare facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that patients experience a smooth and efficient process from appointment scheduling through registration and financial clearance. The manager leads a team that handles patient intake, insurance verification, and billing coordination, aiming to maximize patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma

Job Knowledge:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient access or healthcare administration roles. Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance processes, including verification and authorization Proficiency with EHR systems and patient registration software.

Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Physical Demands:

Long periods of sitting, standing up, and walking around facility with patients/visitors within scheduled shift.

License:

BLS/CPR Confidentiality:
