Job Summary:
The site manager works under the supervision of the COO. The site manager contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing day-to-day operations of operational aspects of ongoing programs including organizing, staffing, leading, and managing program activities at a specific site.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of two-year previous management and/or leadership experience within a healthcare setting. 2. Licensed or Registered Nursing degree required. 3. Must have proficient knowledge of computer programs such as word processing, email, internet, etc. 4. Must possess critical thinking skills and show effective conflict resolution abilities. 5. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and lead by example with staff. 6. Must have the ability to work well with others and handle stressful situations professionally. Must have the capacity to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally to achieve the goals of the organization. 8. Must be able to multitask, delegate tasks, and effectively/professionally handle renegade staff. 9. Must have excellent communication skills, both orally and in written format. 10. Must have professional composure and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise all front desk/patient access activities and staff including the check-in and check-out process, including patient interviewing, obtaining required patient demographic information, gathering personal and financial data, admission eligibility, preparing admission records, and collection of payment for services rendered. 2. Organize, set priorities, develop work schedules, and monitor progress toward goals, and track details, data, information, and activities. 3. Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations to the COO in an effort to resolve the situations. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess situations to determine their importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions, which are timely, and in the best interests of the organization. Oversee the day-to-day implementation of the sliding fee discount program and sign off on all applications that meet approval for eligibility. 3. Monitor the providers appointment scheduling and ensures that patient appointments are being scheduled properly by front desk/patient access staff. 4. Oversee that no-show letters are mailed out daily for all patients that didn't attend scheduled appointments. 5. Ensure that each employee under the site manager's supervision is fulfilling their assigned job duties and responsibilities, inclusive of completing the organization's mission, vision, and core values. 6. Evaluate staff's job performance and take action as required (ex: verbal warnings, written disciplinary reports, corrective action plans, etc). 7. Monitors the flow of patient care to ensure that patients are moved accordingly throughout the process and care is not delayed. 8. Effective, efficient, and consistent communication with the COO regarding clinic operations and clinic productivity with immediate notification to the COO regarding problems. 9. Train and orient new employees to organizational practices and provide supervision as required. 10. Facilitate staff meetings/trainings as needed (requires COO's prior approval) 11. Participate and ensure staff's compliance with all of PHSC's Policies and Procedures. 12. Comply with applicable law and fully compliant and cooperate with PHSC's Compliance Program. 13. Participate in trainings (conferences, webinars, workshops, etc) that will enhance the growth, quality, and productivity of PHSC's sites. 14. Promote awareness of all of PHSC's programs to expand consumer awareness of clinical and enabling services available. 15. Any other assignments deemed necessary and as assigned.
