Embedded within a collaborative Human Resources organization—often known as People & Culture or Employee and Labor Relations—the Healthcare Labor Relations Manager will help power an award-winning 321-bed acute care facility in Central Massachusetts; this Labor Relations Manager supports a hospital distinguished by key differentiators including advanced technology such as CyberKnife and da Vinci robotics, specialized cardiac and orthopedic programs, a 24/7 ER, and high-quality care with strong staffing ratios, enabling a best-in-class, data-informed approach to employee and labor strategy that aligns seamlessly with clinical excellence.

Reporting to a senior People & Culture executive (such as a Chief Human Resources Officer or VP of HR), the Hospital Labor Relations Manager partners closely with nursing leadership, legal counsel, organizational development, talent acquisition, and finance to drive thoughtful labor relations across union and non-union settings; the Healthcare Labor Relations Manager will lead collective bargaining strategy, negotiate and administer contracts, manage grievances and arbitrations, advise leaders on contract interpretation, advance engagement initiatives, coach leaders on just and equitable practices, and use analytics to anticipate trends, while enjoying strong operational support, collaborative department leaders, friendly nurses, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to respect, inclusion, and shared success.
