Senior Clinician, Youth Residential Services Salary Range:
$75,000 - $80,000 Position Summary The Senior Clinician is a leadership role that, in addition to providing direct clinical services, supports junior clinicians in their day-to-day responsibilities. This position also plays a key role in overseeing admissions and discharges and providing leadership for program groups. The Senior Clinician reports to the Clinical Director. Essential Functions Promote a workplace culture grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Maintain a reduced caseload as determined by the Clinical Director (CD). Participate in admissions (tours, interviews) and oversee discharge planning. Provide clinical consultation, supervision support, and documentation oversight for clinicians. Oversee planning and delivery of group therapy services. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for assigned clients (including psychosocial and family history). Develop and monitor treatment goals; provide recommendations to the Treatment Team on client progress and readiness for discharge. Facilitate Initial and Quarterly Treatment Conferences. Deliver case management services, including care coordination, advocacy, and collaboration with families, referral sources, and medical staff. Provide individual, group, and family therapy; support family engagement and strengthen family systems. Communicate regularly with families and external partners regarding client progress. Coordinate referrals for diagnostic evaluations and assist with legal/medical processes (e.g., medication orders, guardianship). Attend team meetings, medication reviews, and IEP meetings as appropriate. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (clinical, medical, educational, and program staff). Participate in weekly supervision and complete required supervision documentation. Apply evidence-based, strengths-focused treatment approaches and review evaluations to guide care. Provide training and consultation to staff on client needs and treatment strategies. Complete timely, accurate documentation (e.g., progress notes, treatment plans, reports, discharge summaries) in required systems (eHana, Virtual Gateway). Participate in staff meetings, service model development, and quality improvement initiatives. Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain competency in evidence-based practices. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinical Director. Work Experience Minimum of one year of clinical experience required License-eligible candidates preferred Education Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work required Who We Are RFK Community Alliance provides high-quality care and support to people and families facing complicated challenges.
