401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medicilon USA Corp is seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Director to lead and scale our U.S. marketing function. At this stage of growth, this role is critical in transitioning from foundational brand building to demand generation—expanding our market reach, strengthening scientific positioning, and driving qualified leads to support business development. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of drug discovery and CRO services, combined with the ability to translate complex science into compelling, high-impact marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities 1. Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on increasing brand visibility, market penetration, and qualified lead generation. Partner closely with Business Development to align marketing initiatives with pipeline goals, target accounts, and revenue objectives. Identify and prioritize high-impact channels (digital, events, partnerships, content) to drive measurable growth. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI. 2. Digital Presence & Content Leadership Own and evolve the company's digital presence, with the website as a central hub for scientific storytelling and lead conversion. Lead the creation of high-quality content showcasing Medicilon's capabilities in pharmacology, DMPK, toxicology, and IND-enabling services. Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling messaging for global audiences. Continuously optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion pathways based on analytics and user behavior. 3. Content Optimization & Digital Execution Collaborate with SEO and digital specialists to improve search visibility and inbound traffic. Implement and refine digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, LinkedIn strategy, and targeted outreach. Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics, adjusting strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates. 4. Campaign & Brand Management Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms, conferences, and public relations channels. Strengthen brand positioning as a trusted CRO partner in drug discovery and preclinical development. Ensure consistency in messaging across all touchpoints. 5. Event & Industry Engagement Lead planning and execution of trade shows, scientific conferences (e.g., AACR, SfN, BIO), and key industry events. Partner with BD to maximize event ROI through pre-event targeting, onsite engagement, and post-event follow-up strategies. 6. Team Leadership & Capability Building Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Provide clear direction, tools, and resources to support execution and professional growth. Establish scalable processes for content creation, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with BD, scientific teams, and leadership to ensure marketing strategies align with company capabilities and priorities. Act as a bridge between scientific teams and commercial functions, ensuring accurate and effective communication of services. 8. Data-Driven Marketing Operations Oversee CRM and marketing data systems to ensure accurate tracking of leads, campaigns, and performance.
