Jobs › Lowell, MA › Assistant ABA Clinic Director Merrimack Autism Consultants Assistant ABA Clinic Director Lowell, MA Apply The Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) will work closely with the Clinical Director to oversee and enhance the clinical operations of our autism services program. This leadership role requires a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), exceptional supervisory skills, and a commitment to ensuring high standards of care and program development. The ACD will be responsible for assisting in the clinical oversight of all behavioral programs, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring that services are provided in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards. This is a full-time position requiring a BCBA certification and an active state Behavior Analyst license.\
Responsibilities:
\Clinical Oversight:
\- Assist the Clinical Director in managing and overseeing all clinical programs and services provided to clients with autism. Ensure that the ABA programs are designed and implemented in a way that promotes client progress and quality outcomes.\
Supervision and Staff Development:
Supervise and provide guidance to Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, and other clinical staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.\
Client Assessments and Treatment Plans:
Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop treatment plans, and regularly monitor client progress. Ensure that individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) are appropriately implemented and adjusted as needed.\Collaboration:
Work closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration in client care. Provide training and education to family members on behavior management strategies.\Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards. Participate in audits and performance reviews to maintain a high level of service quality. Uphold all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations in accordance with company policies.\Program Development:
Assist in the development, implementation, and review of new programs and protocols based on the latest research in ABA and autism treatment.\Administrative Duties:
Assist with program scheduling, documentation, and other administrative tasks as needed. Ensure that all clinical records are accurate and up-to-date.\Professional Growth:
Maintain current knowledge of developments in the field of ABA and autism spectrum disorder by participating in ongoing training, attending professional conferences, and staying informed on industry trends.\Qualifications:
\- Master\'s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.\
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.\
- Active state licensure as a Behavior Analyst.
Experience:
\- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing ABA services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder.\
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and support a clinical team.\
- Experience in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
Skills and Abilities:
\- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of ABA principles and techniques.\
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, clients, and families.\
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.\
- Knowledge of current research, best practices, and trends in the field of autism treatment and ABA.\
- Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care.
