General Summary of Position:

This being a promotional opportunity, only current UML Employees with the same Bargaining unit are eligible to apply for this position. The ADCT will provide oversight, management, and development of clinical training programs in Counseling Services. The ACDT will train and supervise clinical trainees, including pre-doctoral interns participating in the APA accredited pre-doctoral internship program through the William James College Internship Consortium. The ACDT will also provide leadership, guidance and administrative supervision to clinical supervisors. The ADCT will carry a caseload of clients and provide culturally affirming clinical services. These include triage assessments, intake evaluations, diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, brief individual and couples counseling as well as group counseling. The ADCT will assist students requiring long-term or specialized care in connecting with campus and off-campus resources as well as provide psychiatric referrals. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced psychologist who routinely provides clinical supervision. We are seeking a motivated, dedicated, collaborative leader with a passion for providing high quality, culturally responsive, innovative and ethical training and supervision. The ADCT will join a hard-working, warm, dedicated, supportive team of multidisciplinary mental health care providers. Minimum Qualifications (Required): Doctoral degree in counseling or psychology from a fully APA-accredited program and completion of a fully APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship. At least 5 years clinical experience providing psychotherapy preferably in a college or university counseling center. At least 1 year of experience serving as a clinical supervisor providing weekly supervision. Experience and knowledge of individual and group counseling and psychotherapy practices, knowledge of developmental psychological theory, understanding of student development and outreach. Experience providing culturally affirming clinical care and supervision to a diverse population. Demonstrated experience in working with developmental issues common to the 18-25 year old college student population. Ability to perform psychological assessment; provide crisis intervention services; provide effective consultation and clinical supervision; maintain appropriate records via an EHR and adhere to professional confidentiality standards. Current professional MA license as a psychologist or current license as a psychologist in another state and license-eligible in MA (required to obtain license within first 3 months of employment). Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

Minimum:

$85,689, 25th quartile: $98,542 and midpoint of $111,396.
