Adecco is hiring for a Part-Time HR/Safety Coordinator for a food manufacturer in Lowell! This is a temp to perm opportunity.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Pay:
$25-$30/hour DOE
JOB DUTIES:
Human Resources
- Review employee timecards for accuracy andpleteness
- Follow up with supervisors regarding attendance and timekeeping discrepancies
- Assist with payroll processing and timely submission of time records
- Process and track employee PTO, sick time, and leave requests
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records
- Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Respond to employee questions regarding attendance, benefits, and policies
- Prepare HR reports and maintain HRIS and payroll system data
- Support employeemunications and HR programs
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and hiring processes
- Support open enrollment meetings and benefit changes
Staffing Coordination
- Submit and coordinate temporary staffing requests
- Schedule and support placement of temporary employees
- Review and approve temporary employee hours
- Submit weekly timecards to staffing agencies
- Maintainmunication with staffing partners regarding attendance and performance
- Track temporary assignments and conversions
Safety
- Support workplace safety programs and initiatives
- Maintain safety logs, records, andpliance documentation
- Assist with incident reporting and investigations
- Coordinate workers'pensation claims and return-to-work activities
- Support corrective action follow-up items
- Assist with scheduling safety meetings andmunications
- prepare documentation for audits and regulatory requests
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of administrative, HR, or office support experience preferred
- Stronganizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn HR, payroll, and safety processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environment
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Exposure to workers'pensation or safety programs

Pay Details:
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour
