Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physical Therapy Director to lead our outpatient rehabilitation services with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the clinical operations of the physical therapy department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and compliant environment. Duties Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of the physical therapy department, including clinical protocols, staff development, and patient satisfaction. Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate licensed physical therapists, assistants, and support staff to foster professional growth and high-quality care. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing healthcare practices and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and community partners to coordinate patient care plans effectively. Monitor departmental performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans accordingly. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning. Skills Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of physical therapy practices, clinical guidelines, and healthcare regulations. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, physicians, and external partners. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in documentation and compliance matters. Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational objectives while maintaining high standards of patient care. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and practice management software. A valid state license as a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or equivalent credential; additional leadership certifications are a plus. Pay:
$39.65 - $52.00 per hour
