Job Description

The purpose of this position is to support efficient daily clinical operations and ensure timely coordination of administrative and patient care processes within the agency. The Clinical Manager's Assistant serves as a liaison between clinical staff, patients, physicians, referral sources, and internal departments while helping maintain compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and home care standards. Administrative Support Provide direct administrative support to the Clinical Manager and clinical leadership team. Manage calendars, meetings, schedules, and departmental communications. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, audits, correspondence, and meeting materials. Maintain organized and confidential employee and patient-related records. Assist with onboarding processes, orientation coordination, and training documentation for clinical staff. Answer and route incoming calls professionally and appropriately. Clinical Coordination Support Assist with coordination of patient admissions, recertifications, resumptions of care, and discharges. Review clinical documentation for completeness and notify clinicians of missing or outstanding items. Assist with physician order tracking, signatures, and timely processing. Monitor and track clinical compliance items including certifications, licensure, competencies, and required documentation. Support coordination of patient schedules and clinician assignments as directed by the Clinical Manager. Communicate with nurses, therapists, physicians, patients, and families regarding care coordination needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Massachusetts. Minimum of 1-2 years of healthcare administrative or clinical experience. Previous experience in home care, hospice, or healthcare operations preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills including EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
