Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Supervisor at a faith-based practice committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health and behavioral services. In this vital role, you will assist the executive director in supervising staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care rooted in faith and evidence-based practices. Your leadership will foster a supportive environment where staff can develop professionally and clients can thrive. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor 3-4 clinical staff, including therapists, associate counselors, and interns, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards. Manage a small caseload, meeting 15-18 billable hours per week. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse client populations. Provide direct clinical supervision for individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, motivational interviewing and Faith-Based Interventions . Coordinate crisis intervention efforts and manage crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity, including crisis management protocols related to mental health emergencies. Ensure accurate documentation of client care in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records, progress notes, and treatment plans. Facilitate training on medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and other documentation requirements to maintain compliance. Oversee Peer Review and Quality Assurance Practices, including routine chart audits Promote a culture of continuous improvement through data collection, clinical research support, and quality assurance initiatives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic child & family counseling services within faith-based settings. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure as required by state law (e.g., LMHC, LICSW, LMFT). Proven experience in behavioral health settings working with individuals, families and substance abuse. (experience with children and plus) Strong knowledge of mental health and substance abuse counseling techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, behavior management strategies and faith based interventions. Experience with crisis intervention and crisis management protocols in clinical environments. Familiarity with medical documentation standards such as HIPAA regulations and ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria; experience with PTSD care is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise clinical teams effectively while fostering a faith-based approach to care. Strong organizational skills for managing client assessments, medical records, data collection efforts, and research activities related to behavioral health outcomes. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
