Job Description
Join our team and make a meaningful impact in behavioral health by supporting the growth of the next generation of clinicians while providing high-quality outpatient mental health care. Clinical Supervisors provide clinical supervision and training to unlicensed, graduate-level clinicians delivering outpatient mental health services while maintaining their own client caseload. In partnership with clinic leadership, Clinical Supervisors oversee the professional development of therapists through individual and group supervision, ensuring high standards of clinical quality, ethical practice, and positive client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide 15-20 billable units of outpatient clinical services each week. Deliver 10-12 hours of individual and group supervision weekly to unlicensed clinicians in accordance with state regulations, payer requirements, and organizational supervision policies. Conduct supervision in person and/or via secure video conferencing across one or more clinic locations. Review clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and related records, ensuring compliance with payer and documentation requirements. Complete and maintain accurate supervision documentation and supervision agreements. Evaluate clinicians across core competency areas and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development. Identify opportunities for performance improvement and communicate ethical or compliance concerns to clinic leadership. Support clinic leadership with interviewing, onboarding, and training new clinicians and interns as needed. Assist with intake coordination, referrals, waitlist management, and crisis or triage support when appropriate. Collaborate with community partners and interdisciplinary teams to support quality client care. Qualifications Master's degree or higher from an accredited counseling, social work, psychology, or related behavioral health program. Active independent clinical license in the applicable state (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent). Minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience. Working knowledge of applicable state and federal behavioral health regulations. Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard computer applications. Strong commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Ability to provide effective supervision, mentorship, and support in a fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred Qualifications Formal post-graduate training in clinical supervision. Knowledge of current standards and best practices in outpatient behavioral health care. Familiarity with emerging trends, evidence-based interventions, and innovations in mental health treatment. Compensation Compensation ranges from $51-$62 per billable unit, with additional supervisory differential opportunities available. Actual compensation is based on licensure, experience, geographic market, and other relevant factors. Compensation ranges may be adjusted periodically to remain competitive and aligned with organizational needs.
