Job Description

At Maritime Physical Therapy in Plymouth, MA , that voice could be yours. We are hiring a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator who brings warmth, focus, organization, and compassion to every interaction. This role is about more than answering phones or checking patients in. It is about creating calm in the middle of busy clinic days, helping patients understand their next steps, and supporting a team that is focused on excellent patient care. Why This Role Matters You will be the first impression, and often the lasting one. From the first phone call to the final check-out, you will help guide patients through their care experience. You will answer questions, schedule visits, support insurance communication, collect payments, and help keep the front office running smoothly. You will also play an important support role within the clinic as we continue to grow. This position is being added to support front desk operations and patient flow, with training provided by our current Patient Care Coordinator before her upcoming medical leave. What You'll Do Front Desk & Patient Experience Welcome and check in patients with professionalism, warmth, and care Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions clearly and kindly Support check-out, scheduling, payments, and follow-up communication Create a calm and organized front desk experience for patients and the clinical team Scheduling & Calendar Management Schedule new patient evaluations and follow-up appointments Help maintain a full, organized, and accurate clinic schedule Communicate schedule changes and updates with patients and team members Follow up with patients by phone or email to support attendance and ongoing care Insurance, Billing & Collections Support Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes Help explain insurance information, copays, and patient responsibility with clarity Collect copays and payments professionally Support billing and collections-related front office tasks as needed EMR, Data Entry & Office Operations Enter and update patient information accurately Maintain organized patient records and front office documentation Use Google Workspace and clinic systems to support daily operations Communicate clearly with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly Sales & Lead Conversion Support Respond to patient inquiries and new patient leads by phone and email Help convert patient leads into scheduled evaluations or consultations Follow proven processes and training to support patient scheduling and lead conversion Make sure potential patients feel heard, helped, and confident taking the next step You're a
Great Fit If You:
Have 1-2 years of healthcare front desk, Patient Care Coordinator, or administrative experience Have experience interacting with patients in a front desk or customer-facing role Are familiar with medical insurance, insurance verification, or authorizations Communicate clearly, kindly, and confidently by phone and in person Are comfortable using Google Workspace and learning clinic systems Can manage multiple priorities while staying calm, organized, and professional Enjoy helping people and creating a positive patient experience Are willing to complete proven training to support lead conversion and evaluation scheduling Want to be part of a team-focused workplace where everyone works toward excellent patient care What's In It for

$42,000 - $50,000per year $1,000 signing bonus paid after the first 90 days Full-time schedule
