Vineyard Harbor Motel Location:
Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard, MA Position Type:
Year-Round, Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible Hours between 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)

Co-President of the Vineyard Harbor Condominium Trust About the Role The Hospitality Lead is a key leadership role that helps oversee daily front desk operations, guest services, housekeeping coordination, and seasonal staff training. You will be joining a team of two leads, working collaboratively while each focusing on different operational areas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, interacting with guests, and taking ownership in maintaining a welcoming and organized motel environment. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional guest services, including check-in/check-out, phone and email communication Manage and update reservations in our system (ResNexus) Conduct daily room inspections to ensure cleanliness and standards Use a phone-based scheduling app to manage your availability and pick up shifts Coordinate with housekeeping teams and adjust cleaning schedules as needed Train, supervise, and provide support to seasonal and summer staff Serve as the acting front desk lead when the other Hospitality Lead is off-site Support property operations such as trash removal, breakroom upkeep, and light organization tasks Maintain front desk area organization, cleanliness, and supply levels Participate in team meetings and regular communication with the Co-President Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Comfortable using technology (reservation software, mobile apps, Google Workspace) Reliable, professional, and collaborative Willingness to take initiative and support guests and team members Schedule & Compensation Flexible shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM , including weekends and holidays Part-time off-season with potential for full-time or extended hours during the summer Weekly pay; competitive hourly wage based on experience Onboarding and training provided
