This full-time leadership role is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong clinical nursing and staff management experience who is looking to grow in long-term care and nursing administration. This is a full time salaried role which will typically include day shifts but some evenings and weekends based on organizational needs. Why Join The Knollwood Nursing Center? Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate nursing staff and daily departmental operations. Ensure patients receive quality healthcare while maintaining compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Oversee scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, and disciplinary processes for nursing staff. Monitor department resources, supplies, and equipment to maintain operational efficiency. Create and implement policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational goals and patient care excellence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to implement effective patient care plans. Report and resolve operational or patient care concerns with senior leadership in a timely manner. Provide physical and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program; bachelor's degree preferred. Current Massachusetts RN license required. American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required. Minimum three years of nursing experience preferred. One year of supervisory experience preferred. Long-term care or sub-acute care experience preferred. Compliance with continuing education (CEU) and re-licensure requirements. Current CPR and IV therapy certification preferred. Proficiency with basic computer systems; strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, physicians, visitors, and staff.
