Summary of Position:
MedStar Health is seeking a Supervisor, Telehealth Technology Coordinators to support and advance telehealth services across our regional hospitals. In this dynamic leadership role, you'll oversee a team of Telehealth Technology Coordinators, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with hospital and clinical leaders to enhance the patient experience through innovative virtual care solutions. You'll play a key role in supporting telehealth initiatives such as virtual consultations, remote rounding, family video visits, remote patient monitoring, and other emerging technologies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Telehealth Technology Coordinators across multiple hospital locations. Partner with clinical and operational leaders to optimize workflows and improve patient and provider experiences. Monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Serve as a telehealth subject matter expert, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and education to stakeholders. Support strategic growth initiatives that expand access to innovative virtual care solutions.
Minimal Qualifications:
Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree is preferred) 3+ years experience in a clinical and/or customer service setting is required. (One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.) Prior supervisory experience and experience with EHR systems is preferred. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong critical thinking communication skills written skills organizational skills accountability/ownership and assertiveness. Ability to effectively multi-task and work under strict deadlines. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Comfortable working in a clinical setting and being exposed to high-risk conversations. Tech savvy and proficient in MS Office applications including Teams Outlook Word and Excel. This position has a hiring range of : USD $28.76 - USD $48.96 /Hr.
