Position Overview The Patient Coordinator is a critical part of the patient journey at Embolix. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience from initial inquiry through treatment and follow-up. This is more than a traditional front desk role — you'll act as a central hub, coordinating communication, managing patient workflows, and helping patients navigate their care with clarity and confidence. Key Responsibilities Patient Communication & Support Serve as the primary point of contact by answering inbound calls and responding to patient inquiries in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner Guide patients through the care process, setting expectations and providing clear next steps Build trust with patients by delivering a high-touch, personalized experience Care Coordination Schedule patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups across multiple clinics and provider calendars Coordinate and track patient-related tasks, including imaging, lab work, and referrals Proactively follow up with patients to ensure completion of required pre- and post-procedure items Administrative & Operational Support Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR systems Ensure all required documentation is collected and completed prior to appointments or procedures Support clinic operations by managing scheduling workflows and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a patient-facing, healthcare, or customer service role Strong communication skills with a patient-first mindset Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment Experience with EMR systems and medical scheduling preferred Schedule and Work-Life Balance Full-Time; 40 hours per week 4-6 procedure days per month (typically 1-2 days per week) Scheduled work hours:
