Clinical Research Coordinator (Patient Care & Administrative Support) Cumberland Valley Retina Consultants (CVRC) Make a Difference in Patient Care While Building a Unique Healthcare Career Are you looking for a healthcare career that combines direct patient interaction with administrative and organizational responsibilities? Cumberland Valley Retina Consultants is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our growing clinical research team. No prior clinical research experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with patients while also developing valuable skills in healthcare coordination, documentation, scheduling, and project management. It's an excellent role for individuals who enjoy both patient care and behind-the-scenes organization. What You'll Do As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you'll help manage patient participation in clinical studies while supporting physicians and the research team.
Your responsibilities may include:
Patient Care & Interaction Welcome and guide patients through study visits Explain study procedures and answer patient questions Help patients stay on schedule with appointments and follow-up visits Assist physicians during patient examinations Monitor patient well-being and communicate concerns to the medical team Build positive relationships with patients throughout their study participation Coordination & Administrative Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate study visits Prepare visit paperwork and patient documentation Maintain accurate patient records Enter information into secure electronic systems Track study activities and ensure required procedures are completed Communicate with physicians, study sponsors, and internal team members Support quality and compliance standards Team Collaboration Work closely with physicians, technicians, and research staff Participate in team meetings and training Help ensure studies are conducted safely and efficiently Contribute to a positive, patient-focused environment What We're Looking For We are willing to train the right candidate.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Attention to detail Compassion and professionalism when working with patients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer proficiency Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medical offices, ophthalmology, optometry, patient care, medical assisting, scheduling, or healthcare administration Experience working directly with patients or customers Medical terminology knowledge is helpful but not required Why Join CVRC?
