  • Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role involves managing appointment scheduling, patient communication, and administrative support within a busy medical or dental office environment. The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality patient care and supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently Collect and update patient information accurately in the electronic health records system Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide excellent customer service Manage patient flow to minimize wait times and ensure smooth office operations Assist with insurance verification and billing support as needed Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as preparing charts and documentation Experience Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures is highly desirable Experience providing medical administrative support, including scheduling and insurance processing, is advantageous Office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and multitasking ability is beneficial Candidates with dental office experience will be considered favorably This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare administration. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
