Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment. This pivotal role involves coordinating patient care, managing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The Nurse Manager will serve as a key leader in fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, optimizing patient outcomes, and streamlining operational workflows to deliver exceptional surgical services. Duties include Lead and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development to ensure a motivated and competent team. Oversee patient care processes from pre-operative assessments through post-operative recovery, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols. Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and administrative staff to facilitate smooth surgical scheduling and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, OSHA
standards, and accreditation requirements for ambulatory surgery centers. Implement infection control procedures, sterile processing protocols, and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of patient safety. Facilitate staff training on new procedures or equipment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing clinical outcomes and implementing best practices Valid RN license with current state licensure; BSN preferred. Experience in ambulatory surgery centers or outpatient surgical settings; prior nurse management experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while fostering collaboration. Knowledge of infection control practices, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic procedures. BLS and ACLS Gastroenterology experience preferred
