Ambulatory Surgery Center of Bethesda Location:
North Bethesda, MD The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic, strategic Practice Administrator to lead operations across a premier, multi-entity aesthetic surgical practice in the Washington, DC area. This role oversees three integrated business lines: a high-end plastic surgery practice, a full-service medical spa, and an AAAHC-accredited, Medicare-certified ambulatory surgery center. The Practice Administrator serves as the operational and strategic partner to physician leadership—driving performance, optimizing systems, financial strategy, and ensuring an exceptional, consistent patient experience across all entities. Core ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership & Operations Provide strategic and operational oversight across all divisions: surgical practice, medspa, and ASC Partner closely with physician leadership to align business strategy with clinical excellence Lead department heads and foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high performance Ensure a seamless, elevated patient experience across all touchpoints Accounting & Financial Management Manage payroll, accounts payable, vendor payments, and financial reconciliation Oversee the practice's day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. Manage accounting records in QuickBooks Online, including account setup and maintenance Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate transaction posting Oversee accounts payable and support accounts receivable processes Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, journal entries, and financial reporting Monitor cash flow and operating expenses Coordinate with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and financial reviews Maintain compliance with internal policies and organized financial records Monitor KPIs and implement data-driven strategies to improve profitability and efficiency Human Resources & Team Development Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans Develop compensation structures, bonus programs, and staff incentive models Build leadership capabilities across departments and maintain a strong, team-oriented culture Marketing, Growth & Brand Oversight Lead print and digital marketing strategy, including ad planning, budgeting, and performance analysis Partner with internal teams and external agencies to drive patient acquisition and retention Support brand positioning aligned with a refined, patient-centered aesthetic philosophy Systems, Technology & Infrastructure Serve as systems superuser across EMR (Nextech), CRM, and communication platforms Act as primary liaison for IT vendors and outsourced service providers Oversee implementation and optimization of systems, workflows, and reporting tools Ensure operational scalability and efficiency through thoughtful process improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or equivalent strongly preferred 5+ years of healthcare administration or multi-site practice management experience Experience in plastic surgery, or aesthetics.
