Job Description

What to expect: Oversees all intake and referrals to all Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) on all Sheppard Pratt campuses. Monitors and reports trends and issues that impact admissions and patient days. Builds and maintains effective relationships with area acute care hospitals and community referrers to facilitate admissions and transfers. Ensures efficient intake processes, monitors referral trends, tracks capacity utilization, and produces actionable analytics to inform leadership strategy and operational improvements across access and care delivery services. What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field of study. Master's degree preferred (Counseling, Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration). Three years of related experience in crisis, emergency, or urgent care behavioral health with skills in program leadership; effective patient service access flow; mental health needs assessment; health insurance and plan coverage verifications. Must possess experience in written and verbal communication skills, the ability to compose correspondence and prepare clear, meaningful reports, knowledge of third-party insurance providers, policies, benefits and procedures, and proficiency using Microsoft Office software.
