About the
Role:
As a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement•MDS, you will be responsible for leading a team of clinical reimbursement professionals in the MDS department, ensuring accurate and timely MDS submissions. You will be the subject matter expert in MDS reimbursement, developing and implementing best practices, training and mentoring staff, and monitoring and reporting on departmental performance. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and improving client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of clinical reimbursement professionals in the MDS department, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for clients Develop and implement best practices for MDS reimbursement, staying up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry trends Train and mentor staff on MDS reimbursement processes, policies, and procedures Monitor and report on departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and financial departments, to ensure alignment and effective communication Analyze and interpret MDS data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and needs are met
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and an RN or LPN. Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical reimbursement role, with a focus on MDS reimbursement In-depth knowledge of MDS reimbursement guidelines and regulations Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and lead a team Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
