Clinical Director /
Administrator Salary:
$130,000 to $150,000 Per Year
ABOUT US
We are a Maryland-based PHP/IOP substance abuse treatment center committed to high-quality, individualized care.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Director/Administrator oversees all clinical and operational functions of our PHP/IOP substance abuse program. This position requires a leader with a strong clinical background who can ensure quality individualized care, regulatory compliance, and effective day-to-day business operations. You will lead therapists and substance abuse practitioners while bridging clinical practice and business administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clinical supervision and direction to therapists and substance abuse practitioners Assign cases, review charts, and ensure individualized treatment plans Conduct staff, multidisciplinary, and peer review meetings, document supervision notes Oversee intakes, terminations, and client scheduling Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff Develop and enforce clinical/operational policies and procedures Manage day-to-day operations, staffing, and facility scheduling Oversee budgeting, expenditures, and financial reporting Ensure compliance with Maryland state licensing, ASAM criteria, and accrediting standards Serve as liaison to referral sources, payers, and community agencies Conduct crisis intervention and mental health/SUD assessments as needed Maintain strict confidentiality and the highest ethical standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in social work, Counseling, or Psychology Minimum 3-5 years of clinical leadership/administrative experience in a substance abuse or behavioral health setting Working knowledge of ASAM criteria and PHP/IOP programming Compliance with Maryland continuing education requirements for maintained clinical licensure
