Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of mental health and addiction medicine? How about a $5,000 sign-on bonus? Kennebec Behavioral Health, established in 1960 to provide comprehensive behavioral health services and named one of the Best Places to Work in Maine for the last 4 consecutive years, , is currently seeking a full-time Master's Level Clinician to join our Opioid Health Home program in our Augusta Clinic (10 Caldwell Rd). This is a professional clinical position focused primarily on Opioid Health Home (OHH) clients that targets the achievement of mutually defined goals and objectives by providing quality substance abuse services in an efficient, and effective manner. Pay range will be depending on licensure and experience; and is from $31 to $35 per hour. The Masters Level Clinician provides the full scope of clinical treatment services including: completing clinically accurate intake evaluations by engaging clients in admissions process, completing a diagnosis evaluation, completing the comprehensive assessment and ASAM, determining eligibility for Opioid Health Homes (OHH), formulating the preliminary treatment plan, providing best practice therapies for individual and group treatment, and treatment discharge planning with appropriate referrals for ongoing service needs. The Clinician will have the opportunity to bring creativity to the therapeutic process.
Requirements:
The Co-Occurring Disorders Masters Level Clinician must possess full or conditional license (LCSW, LMSW, LCPC or LMFT) license with 60 hours of alcohol/drug education in the last 5 years, or with 5 years of initiating service delivery for OHH, having completed 60 hours of alcohol/drug training. Candidates with dual licensure in substance use disorder treatment (CADC/LADC) and CCS are preferred.

OUD treatment in an inter-disciplinary team approach and person-centered treatment model KBH is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) that provides workers with qualifying employment and loan payments federal student debt forgiveness after 10 years or 120 monthly payments.
