Back to Basics is seeking kind, caring, and dedicated Program Managers who will be effective, supportive team leaders to join our team & guide Behavioral Health Professionals under your supervision. You also will be responsible for supporting and empowering the families and children that work alongside the Behavioral Health Professionals that are connected with them, on a regular basis. Program Manager of Children with Developmental Disabilities or Delays Back to Basics Behavioral Health Services Full-Time | $26.00/hour | 40 Hours/Week | In-Person Our Mission At Back to Basics, we help children with Developmental Disabilities and Delays grow strong and independent. About This Job As a Program Manager of Children with Developmental Disabilities or Delays , you will help children in their homes and communities. You will also help support and guide the staff who work with them.
You will:
Support a group of amazing Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) Meet with families and build strong, caring relationships Help write treatment plans to guide care Do some direct care yourself with kids in their homes Make sure our team is doing their best work, every day This job is a mix of office work, teamwork, and working with kids in the field. It's hands-on, heart-first, and deeply rewarding.
What You'll Do Help Families:
Visit homes and meet with families often
Support Kids:
Make plans and provide services to help kids succeed
Train Staff:
Teach and guide BHPs so they feel ready and confident
Check Schedules:
Make sure meetings and services happen on time
Write Notes:
Keep documents and spreadsheets clear and up to date Lead the
Team:
Be a helpful leader for the BHPs you oversee
Pitch In:
Step in when needed, including during emergencies Do the
Work:
Spend at least 9 hours each week providing direct services
Solve Problems:
Work with others to fix issues quickly and kindly What You Need A high school diploma or GED A car, valid driver's license, and insurance At least 1 year working in behavioral health or managing people Kindness, patience, and great communication skills Ability to stay organized, even when things get busy A love for learning and helping others grow Valid Driver's License Valid Car Registration Valid Car Insurance as an insured driver on the policy Reliable transportation Ability and willingness to transport clients in vehicle Must be at least 18 years of age Strong communication skills Ability to successfully pass all background checks A desire to lead with empathy, compassion and enthusiasm Access to a smart phone with working cameras Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week Mostly Monday-Friday, with some evenings and weekends for training Some flexibility depending on client needs will require travel to the clients homes up to 60+ minute radius of location How to Apply Send us your resume and a quick note telling us why you'd be a great fit.
