Job Description

This position is primarily administrative with some technical knowledge required. It provides for the efficient coordination of activities within the Information Services department, in support of all users and the organization. The employee is expected to perform all responsibilities according to best practices in the field and reflecting the mission and vision of Family Health Care.
Description:
Create access to IT systems as directed by the CIO, the Desktop Support Manager or the EHR Support Manager. Work with 3rd party partner vendors to create access to IT systems. This may include, but is not limited to: Partner portals Payer websites (likely Billing and Dental) Other Provide technical support and/or training for systems. Act as a link between end users and other IT support staff. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and external contacts.
Qualifications:
Basic level of general knowledge, with specific knowledge about healthcare and/or Information Systems (Technology) helpful. High school graduate or GED. Two years general office/clerical experience preferred. Experience in IT/IS and/or healthcare is preferred. Keyboard skill of 30+ words per minute. Microsoft Office and Internet proficiency. Reliable, dependable, diligent. Ability to learn quickly and become fully functional within a few weeks of on-the-job training. Excellent communication skills. Contacts involve providing, exchanging or explaining complex or technical factual information.
