Job Description

Orchard Hills Country Club We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Hospitality & Events Manager to lead front-of-house operations while serving as the club's primary event sales contact for weddings, golf outings, corporate meetings, and private events. This is a hands-on hospitality role that combines dining room leadership, event sales, marketing support, and banquet coordination. The ideal candidate has management experience and enjoys building relationships, networking in the community, and helping create exceptional experiences for members and guests. This position works closely with the General Manager to help grow event business and promote the club through social media and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
Front of House Operations Help oversee daily dining room and bar operations Maintain high standards of member and guest service Support and lead front-of-house staff Ability to serve and bartend if needed Assist with banquet and event execution Help maintain a positive and team-oriented culture Event Sales & Coordination Serve as the primary contact for weddings, private parties, golf outings, business meetings, and club events Conduct tours and communicate with prospective clients Build and grow event business for the club Attend wedding expos and community networking events Coordinate event details from booking through execution Work directly with the General Manager on event promotion and social media content Help increase banquet and food & beverage revenue
Compensation:
Base Salary $42,000 - $48,000 annually Compensation based on experience. Event Commissions Earn commissions on events personally booked and coordinated Strong earning potential through weddings, outings, meetings, and private parties Tips Eligible to participate in tip sharing during actively worked service shifts Bonus Opportunities Performance-based bonus opportunities available. Total Compensation Potential Commissions and tips provide substantial additional earning opportunity beyond base salary.
Qualifications:
Hospitality, restaurant, banquet, or event experience preferred Sales or customer service experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable networking and building client relationships Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Positive attitude and willingness to be hands-on Social media familiarity is helpful
