This individual will serve as the day-to-day point person for scheduling, phone operations, workflow coordination, and staff accountability while working directly under the Practice Administrator. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, problem-solver, and organizer who can independently resolve issues, coordinate multiple employees, and ensure that patient service remains a top priority. This role is designed to help reduce the operational burden on the Administrator by taking ownership of daily office functions and staff coordination. Responsibilities Serve as the lead resource for the business office and call center staff. Coordinate provider schedules and manage scheduling adjustments. Handle difficult patient calls and scheduling situations. Assign and prioritize daily responsibilities among administrative staff. Monitor phone queues, patient messages, and appointment requests. Ensure work is completed accurately and on time. Troubleshoot workflow problems and escalate major issues to the Administrator. Train and mentor new employees. Assist with performance accountability and workflow monitoring. Work closely with providers, clinical staff, and leadership to improve patient access and office efficiency. Maintain a professional, patient-focused environment. Ideal Candidate Strong leadership presence without requiring extensive supervision. Excellent telephone communication skills. Ability to think critically and make sound decisions. Comfortable directing and coordinating the work of others. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Healthcare scheduling experience strongly preferred. Experience in a medical office, call center, or healthcare administration setting. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation Compensation will be based on experience, leadership ability, healthcare office expertise, and current market conditions. Candidates with demonstrated success in healthcare operations, scheduling coordination, and team leadership are strongly encouraged to apply.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
