Job Summary:
As our Food Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining services, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences. You will lead a team of culinary professionals and work closely with our nursing and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of our food service department Manage a team of cooks, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents Conduct food safety and sanitation audits and implement corrective actions as needed Collaborate with our nursing and administrative staff to ensure that our residents receive the care and services they need Monitor and manage food inventory, equipment, and supplies Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
Experience in food service management High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, nutrition, or related field preferred Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards How to
