Job Description

NOW Hiring - Patient Care Coordinator - Front Desk Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Coordinator to help with coverage in our Fowlerville and Howell clinics. Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, should possess excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, this is important in order to build relationships with patients and the community in order to provide a welcoming environment.
Schedule:
Guarantee part time with the possibility of full time in the future Responsibilities include: Greet patients Effectively communicate patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments. Provides detailed instructions to patients for their visits. Reviews and evaluates patient charts for data entry accuracy. Work as a team to ensure we have an efficient working environment to ensure that calls are made timely to patients and referral sources. Familiarity with Outpatient Rehabilitation/Medical services and medical terminology. Answering phones Patient registration/data entry Scanning/faxing/other clerical duties Collecting copay's and patient balances Patient scheduling-Schedule Management Patient Care assistance as needed Strong organizational skills Knowledge of Insurance benefits
