What you will be doing The Health and Wellness Director is responsible for supporting the oversight of care services within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. In this leadership role, you will partner closely with the Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care to plan, organize, supervise, and evaluate clinical operations while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. You will play a key role in assessing resident needs, developing and implementing individualized service plans, and coordinating care to ensure the highest quality of life for our residents. This position also serves as a vital liaison between the community and external providers, including hospice, home health, pharmacy, and primary care services. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can provide guidance, coaching, and accountability to care staff while fostering a culture of excellence and compassion. Responsibilities include overseeing the assessment process, ensuring high standards in resident service plans, and managing training programs for Care Managers, Med Techs, and Care Assistants. You will champion staff development through orientation, in-services, and ongoing education, as well as conduct performance evaluations and support employee engagement and retention initiatives. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential in building positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. This role requires flexibility and a hands-on approach, including participation in an on-call rotation to support operations during evenings, weekends, and emergencies. The Health and Wellness Director must be prepared to step in when needed to maintain quality care and staffing levels. Education:
Associate's degree or higher inNursing Experience:
A knowledge and interest in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care. Management experience preferred in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care.Certifications/Licenses:
