Beyond Dental is a premier practice in Lansing, MI. We offer a variety of dental services to address our patients' oral health needs. Join us in providing extraordinary customer service and patient care! As a Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure that our patients have a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities:
Manage the schedule Proactively fill openings when they occur Educate patients on the value of wellness visits to minimize cancellations Track frequent cancellations or no-shows and document Greet patients and provide excellent customer service Check-in and check-out patients, ensuring accuracy of information Assist patients with appointments, changes, and cancellations Handle patient complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary Ensure that the front desk is always covered Answer phone calls promptly and appropriately with high quality etiquette Check voicemails regularly Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Process payments and maintain accurate records Verify insurance and input policy information in our system Assist the biller with claim-specific needs for proper and timely insurance processing Generate insurance estimates Run End of Day, Month, and Year reports with accurate substantiating records for every transaction Handle patient records Handle record releases with doctor approval Track treatments, new patients, referrals, etc. Be accountable for showing up and completing expected tasks Help maintain team morale Assist with various operational/administrative needs of the office as they arise
Desired Qualities:
Previous experience in dental office front desk role preferred Familiarity with dental office operations and Eaglesoft software is a plus Friendly demeanor, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to empathize and de-escalate Positive attitude and collaborative spirit Phone skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Commitment and accountability Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a patient care environment Proficient in using computers and basic office software
Pay:
$18.00 - $29.00 per hour
