Job Description
Children's Therapy Corner, a pediatric rehabilitation center, is looking for a Director of ABA Clinical Services to lead and oversee the clinical operations of our Applied Behavior Analysis program. This role provides leadership to BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and clinical support staff across our local clinic sites, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. We are looking for a candidate who will drive clinical excellence, promote collaboration across disciplines, and ensure compliance with regulatory and payer standards while supporting the growth and development of our team. Duties include managing the day-to-day clinical operations of ABA services, overseeing quality assurance, and partnering with leadership to align clinical goals with organizational objectives. The job requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze data to drive decision-making, and lead with accountability and compassion. Responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to the following: Oversee daily clinical operations of ABA services across all locations to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency Provide strategic leadership to BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, Clinical Coordinators, and ABA support staff Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and treatment models aligned with best practices Establish and monitor quality assurance measures including treatment integrity, supervision standards, and documentation compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, payer requirements, and BACB standards Oversee the clinic's risk management program, including safety protocols, incident reporting, and corrective action planning Manage the ABA clinical budget, including staffing, productivity, and resource utilization Conduct performance reviews using KPIs, providing constructive feedback and setting actionable goals Oversee development and enhancement of onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development programs Promote a client- and family-centered approach, ensuring caregivers are actively involved in treatment planning Collaborate with Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy teams to support coordinated, holistic care Prepare for and participate in internal, payer, and regulatory audits Essential skills for the position include: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to foster a collaborative and accountable work environment Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify and address complex clinical and operational challenges Strong ability to collect, analyze, and apply data to drive continuous improvement In-depth knowledge of ABA principles, BACB standards, and applicable regulatory requirements Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with families and clinical teams Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple sites simultaneously Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation Strong understanding of payer requirements, billing compliance, and authorization processes Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical leadership role within an ABA or related behavioral health setting.
