Dietary Manager

• Job Summary:

• We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary department and ensure the provision of high-quality nutritional services. The ideal candidate will lead a team in creating care plans, managing special diets, and promoting overall health and wellness in a Nursing Facility.

• Duties:

• Lead and supervise the dietary department staff in meal planning, preparation, and service
• Utilize physiology knowledge to assess residents' dietary needs and develop appropriate care plans
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals for diagnostic evaluations related to nutrition
• Provide health coaching to residents on dietary requirements and lifestyle modifications
• Oversee the implementation of tube feeding protocols when necessary
• Manage the alimentation process for residents with specific dietary needs

• Qualifications:

• Dietary Manager Certificate (CDM) Required
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Knowledge of specialized diets, tube feeding, and nutritional requirements for different health conditions
