You'll create order, solve problems, anticipate needs, and ensure every patient feels welcomed, valued, and cared for. ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll serve as the foundation of the patient experience, helping create a seamless journey from arrival to departure. Success in this role requires initiative, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed when priorities shift. SCHEDULE
Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week) Monday through Friday Typical shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Occasional schedule adjustments may be required to support patient needs and business operations
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Welcome patients warmly and professionally, creating an exceptional first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out accurately and efficiently Verify patient demographics, insurance information, consents, and required documentation Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments while maintaining accurate records Assist patients with paperwork and office-related questions Coordinate communication between patients and the clinical team to ensure a seamless experience Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming reception area Monitor schedules proactively and identify opportunities to improve patient flow and efficiency Anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and take initiative when challenges arise Take ownership of issues and follow through until they are fully resolved Support administrative and operational projects as needed Uphold our standard of a premium patient experience from arrival through departure

QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of customer service, hospitality, healthcare reception, medical office, or administrative experience preferred Previous ophthalmology, optometry, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems independently Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
