Job Description

The Toasted Pickle is searching for a dynamic person to develop and lead the Guest Experience at all three of our restaurant locations. The Hospitality & Training Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing and maintaining a highly skilled, service-oriented team. This role combines front-of-house leadership with structured training program design, ensuring consistent service standards, employee growth, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality Champion a culture of outstanding hospitality and personalized guest service Monitor dining room operations to ensure service quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery with professionalism Develop and implement service standards, protocols, and guest engagement strategies Training & Development Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding and training programs for all front-of-house staff Conduct regular training sessions on service standards, menu knowledge, upselling techniques, and brand values Evaluate employee performance and identify skill gaps for targeted development Maintain training materials, manuals and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Team Leadership Lead, mentor and motivate staff to achieve high performance and engagement Support hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment Act as a role model for professionalism, service excellence, and teamwork Operations Support Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service flow Assist with scheduling, labor management, and shift supervision Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations Support implementation of new initiatives, menus, and service concepts Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management, hospitality leadership, or training roles Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations and service standards Experience in designing and delivering training programs is highly preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Key Competencies Leadership & Coaching Customer Service Excellence Training & Development Communication & Interpersonal Skills Organization & Time Management Adaptability & Continuous Improvement Working Conditions Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Prolonged standing and active movement during shifts Fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Opportunities for career growth and professional development Dynamic and supportive team culture Staff discounts and other benefits

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
