Job Description

If you're looking to make a positive career change, look no further! Tooth Town Pediatric Dentistry, in South Lyon, MI is a hardworking, fun loving, dedicated pediatric dental office searching for a key player to join our front office team. This team is responsible for all administrative aspects of patient care, including:
  • Maintaining a productive and efficiently scheduled appointment book for all providers.
  • Warmly welcoming all clients and effectively communicating in person, by phone and email.
  • Verifying insurance benefits and processing claims.
  • Collecting payments and making financial arrangements.
  • Working closely with the clinical team to develop and present both simple and complex treatment plans and scheduling appropriately.
  • Comprehensive recall management.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate patient records, both hard copy and electronic. At minimum, the candidate must possess a high school education or equivalent and have one year experience in a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • Solid administrative experience in a dental office.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the patient scheduling and billing processes.
  • Strong proficiency with computers, including the effective use of electronic practice management software, Microsoft Office, various patient communication systems and social media.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • An understanding of patient privacy requirements and the practical application of HIPAA in both written and verbal communications.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • A passion for providing the highest quality patient care through outstanding customer service.
We are a pediatric dental office so you also need to love children and working with parents. The position is full time (averaging 35-40 hours per week) Competitive salary based on skills and experience. Benefits include but are not limited to: paid time off, paid holidays and 401k with employer contributions/profit sharing.
