This leadership role supports the interdisciplinary team in ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all applicable hospice regulations and standards. Qualifications and Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's Degree preferred Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Michigan Minimum of three (3) years of hospice clinical experience, including at least one (1) year in a leadership or managerial role within a hospice environment Demonstrated administrative and leadership skills, including written and verbal communication, staff supervision, documentation oversight, service coordination, and case management Comprehensive knowledge of hospice nursing practice, applicable state and federal regulations, and industry standards related to hospice care Proficiency with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) and Microsoft Office programs required Current CPR certification required Valid Michigan Driver's License with daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle Strong commitment to the philosophy and principles of hospice care Position Roles and Responsibilities Serve as a member of the leadership team for the Agency Assist with the oversight and management of clinical services provided by the interdisciplinary team (IDT) in homecare and facility settings Collaborate with the Clinical Director in the development, implementation, and administration of agency goals, policies, and procedures Supervise and support clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, Hospice Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains, Educators, Massage Therapists, Music Therapists, and Medical Office Assistants Participate in employee coaching, supervision, and performance evaluations in accordance with agency policy Identify educational needs of staff in collaboration with the Educator and assist in developing and implementing in-service training programs for the IDT Provide leadership, guidance, and professional support to clinical personnel to promote staff development and quality patient care Participate in and provide leadership during Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings and other clinical meetings and committees Participate in agency events and organizational leadership activities Conduct supervisory visits to observe and evaluate clinical performance of assigned team members Assist in overseeing the maintenance of medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards Support oversight of the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, including development and implementation of the annual QAPI plan Monitor compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation and other state and federal hospice regulations Assist in resolving clinical issues and ensuring continuity and quality of patient care services Promote a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered culture throughout the organization Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday Admin On-call responsibilities as assigned Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Professional development opportunities Supportive leadership environment Meaningful work serving patients and families during end-of-life care #Ocean123
