Job Description

A full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity is available for an Associate Clinical Director in the Outpatient Department. This position supports the Clinical Director in overseeing clinical operations, quality of care, and staff supervision within the Michigan Community Mental Health Services Program. The Associate Clinical Director plays a key leadership role in ensuring services are delivered in accordance with MDHHS requirements, Medicaid standards, and evidence-based practices while supporting clinicians in the delivery of recovery-oriented, person-centered care. This position balances clinical leadership, supervision, and programmatic responsibilities and serves as a key partner in maintaining compliance, access, and service quality. The role also serves as the Clinical/Field Supervisor for BSW/MSW students. Requirements include one to three years of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of adults with serious mental illness and/or minors and their families; a master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or another human services field; and full State of Michigan licensure within the scope of practice, such as LMSW, LPC, LLP, LP, or equivalent. Candidates must also be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, successfully pass criminal and professional background checks, and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
