PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401(k) with Company Match, Paid Holidays Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Clinic Manager to lead the daily operations of our fast-paced Urgent Care clinic. This leadership role requires a strong operational mindset, exceptional people management skills, and a willingness to work alongside clinical staff. The Clinic Manager is expected to spend approximately 90% of their time on the clinic floor, supporting patient flow, staff development, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a clinical background, preferably as a Medical Assistant, who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care and customer service. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the urgent care clinic. Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and call-ins, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Maintain availability to address staffing needs, operational issues, and patient concerns as they arise. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop clinical and front-office team members. Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with all company policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards. Support patient flow and clinic efficiency to minimize wait times and maximize patient satisfaction. Conduct employee performance evaluations and participate in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions. Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships. Collaborate with providers and leadership to achieve operational and financial goals. Serve as a role model by actively working alongside staff and assisting with clinical and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of healthcare leadership or supervisory experience. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or similar clinical role. Strong knowledge of urgent care, primary care, or outpatient clinic operations. Demonstrated ability to manage staffing schedules and handle last-minute call-ins. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Urgent Care management experience. Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). Experience with quality improvement initiatives and performance management. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for extended periods. Ability to assist staff with patient care duties when needed.
