Position Type:

Full-Time , benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday, every 4th weekend & a rotating holiday schedule.

Hours:

11:00 AM - 7:30

PM Wage Range:

$20.50 - $26.51 / hour depending on experience

Location:

14650 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) responsibilities: Answers telephones and directs visitors. Maintains residents' medical records. Coordinates appointments and communication with physicians and vendors. Sets up medical appointments and arranges transportation of residents as needed. Transcribes Physician's Orders, with high degree of accuracy in the facility EHR census data. Assist with paperwork and medical documentation related to resident admissions Complete other tasks as requested. Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) skills and requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification desired. Knowledge of medical terminology desired. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications. Time management skills for working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
