Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Clinical Supervisor/Operations Leader to oversee clinical operations and provide leadership within our behavioral health programs. This role requires a strong background in addiction treatment, mental health counseling, and clinical supervision. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in substance use disorder outpatient treatment, crisis intervention, and case management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a compassionate and compliant manner. This position offers an opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure clinical excellence, and contribute to the recovery journeys of individuals facing substance use challenges. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral health interventions, and motivational interviewing. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using
ICD-9, ICD-10
coding systems, and other diagnostic tools. Manage intake processes, patient records, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Lead crisis management efforts, including crisis intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing mental health or substance use crises. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on addiction counseling, mental health counseling, PTSD care, and family counseling as needed. Utilize data collection methods for clinical outcomes tracking, research initiatives, and quality improvement efforts. Ensure compliance with CPT coding procedures for billing purposes while maintaining accurate medical records. Foster a collaborative team environment emphasizing patient-centered care and behavioral management strategies. Stay current with industry standards related to behavioral health treatment modalities and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field; licensure as required by state regulations (e.g., LCSW, LPC). Extensive experience in addiction medicine, mental health counseling, or behavioral health settings; outpatient treatment center experience preferred. Proven expertise in techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care including PTSD management. Strong background in case management, medical documentation, and medical terminology. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and experience managing confidential medical records. Ability to lead clinical teams effectively while maintaining a focus on patient care quality. Familiarity with research methodologies related to behavioral health outcomes is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage crisis situations calmly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to utilize data collection tools for program evaluation and continuous improvement. Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
