Position Summary As our Patient Financial Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person for all things financial in our office. This includes but is not limited to sending statements, answering patient account and billing questions, and sending accounts to collections if necessary. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients understand their financial options and responsibilities. You'll also work closely with our Insurance Coordinator and should have dental insurance knowledge and experience. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable, follow up on overdue accounts, and process payments. Review treatment costs with patients. Set expectations and offer financial options if needed. Work closely with patients to create customized payment arrangements. Collaborate with the clinical and front office teams to ensure seamless patient flow. Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the dental office Maintain confidentiality and uphold a professional, positive attitude. Maintain a high level of accuracy with error-free processing of financial documentation and reconciliations. Verify and process dental insurance benefits and eligibility Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office (experience in financial coordination, treatment planning, or insurance). Knowledge of dental billing and insurance terminology. Excellent communication and people skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with numbers. Pay:
Up to $28.00 per hour
