- Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated SUD Treatment Director / Program Manager to lead and oversee comprehensive substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs.

Duties Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of SUD treatment programs that incorporate evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral management strategies. Supervise clinical staff including counselors, case managers, and support personnel to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care aligned with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Oversee intake assessments, patient evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations utilizing
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems to determine appropriate treatment plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts in providing individual, group, child & family counseling, and crisis intervention services tailored to diverse populations including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and those with PTSD or other trauma-related conditions. Manage clinical records and medical records accurately while ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy laws such as HIPAA. Facilitate staff training on topics like crisis management, medical terminology, ICD coding, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management techniques. Monitor program outcomes through data collection and research initiatives to continually improve service quality and effectiveness. Skills Proven expertise in addiction counseling methods including motivational interviewing and crisis intervention techniques. Strong background working with children, individuals with disabilities—including developmental disabilities and autism—and pediatrics. Experience in home & community care settings along with hospital environments involving behavioral health or mental health counseling. Skilled in intake procedures, patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation using ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), and case management strategies. Proficiency in clinical counseling modalities such as psychotherapy, CPT coding for billing purposes, social work practices, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while maintaining composure; adept at crisis management and PTSD care protocols. Excellent communication skills for conducting individual/group therapy sessions; capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, electronic health records (EHR), and HIPAA compliance requirements.
