Full Job Description Description:
The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects and accuracy of patient scheduling, patient care coordination, front desk management and general office tasks. The employee shall also perform (i) such other duties as are customarily performed by an employee in a similar position, and (ii) such other and unrelated services and duties as may be assigned to the employee from time to time by Odom Health & Wellness. The essential functions are a general description of responsibilities, duties and tasks that are expected of this position. It is not meant to be an all-encompassing list. Additional duties may be assigned as business or client needs dictate. Essential Functions Welcome clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone. Open/close the front office, answer telephone calls/emails, check patients in/out, collect payments, schedule appointments. Assist in answering customer inquiries and filtering to the Office Manager as needed. Submit imaging requests and schedule patient follow-ups as needed. Submit blood lab orders and schedule patient follow-ups as needed. Assist team with marketing campaigns and organization of upcoming events. Handle laundering duties, massage room preparation and cleaning. Assist with all day-to-day office operations as needed (such as tracking/ordering of inventory & general upkeep). Assist with data collection and tracking for MIPs scores, patient caseloads, etc. Organize & distribute faxed records. Complete medical records requests. Participate in monthly staff meetings. Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations Adjust schedule as needed to help cover the front desk when others are on vacation.

Requirements:
1+ year(s) of experience in a healthcare office setting (preferred). Strong multi-tasking skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong time management skills.
Computer proficiency:
Microsoft word, Excel spreadsheets, experience with EMR systems preferred. Possesses integrity and is trustworthy and dependable. Friendly, outgoing, compassionate personality. Willing to collaborate and work in a team environment. Demonstrates impeccable client focus. Enthusiastic and passionate about health and wellness.
